*THIS POSITION REQUIRES MOTOR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE*
We’re looking for a confident and seasoned Vehicle Evaluator/Buyer to join an expanding team. Your day-to-day focus will be assessing and valuing vehicles, whether trade-ins or direct purchases, and managing the full acquisition process from negotiations to closing the deal. You’ll work closely with sales and management to ensure the dealership maintains the right balance of vehicles on the floor. While this position is primarily office-based, you will play a key role in securing top-quality stock for the dealership, so you will be required to attend auctions or visit wholesale depots when needed. To succeed, you’ll need to stay on top of current trade-in values and market trends, accurately identify accident damage, and have a solid understanding of product mix and what sells quickly. You must have at least 2 years of proven experience in a similar role in a dealership environment; previous experience in a premium brand dealership is a huge advantage. This is a high-impact position where your decisions directly influence dealership performance. You need to be hands-on, commercially minded, and have a sharp eye for value, with strong interpersonal skills

Matric Certificate
A valid Drivers License
Fully bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
2+ years of Vehicle evaluation and/or buying experience in a reputable dealership (premium brand advantageous)
Experience attending auctions
A keen eye for detail
On top of current trade-in values and market trends
A sales background would be a huge advantage
A stable and continuous work history
