Used Car Sales Manager

***THIS POSITION REQUIRES FRANCHISED MOTOR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE***

 

A rapidly expanding dealership representing a successful Chinese automotive brand is looking for a younger, energetic Used Car Sales Manager to lead and grow its pre-owned vehicle department. This dealership forms part of a large and ambitious independent motor group that continues to expand across the region. They are seeking a driven operator who understands the used vehicle market, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to build momentum within a sales team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a team of sales staff, with current monthly sales of approximately 30 units, and the clear objective of growing this to 40+ units per month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of six Used Vehicle Sales Executives
  • Drive monthly unit sales targets and departmental profitability
  • Source and manage quality used vehicle stock
  • Implement effective pricing strategies and manage stock ageing
  • Monitor sales pipelines, conversions, and performance metrics
  • Ensure strong customer satisfaction and professional service standards

 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Used Car Sales Manager within a franchised dealership
  • Proven ability to manage a sales team and drive performance
  • Strong understanding of the used vehicle market, stock sourcing, and pricing
  • Energetic, hands-on leadership style
  • Ability to operate in a high-volume, target-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s licence
