***THIS POSITION REQUIRES MOTOR DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE***

A well-established and growing multi-franchised dealership in a close-knit Afrikaans farming community is looking to appoint a Dealer Principal who is energetic, hands-on, and ready to lead from the front. This role is ideal for an ambitious leader who understands what it takes to drive performance in a dealership environment — someone who can roll up their sleeves, work in the trenches, and build strong relationships within a smaller town market.

Key Responsibilities

Full dealership leadership and operational management across all departments

Drive profitability, sales performance, and customer satisfaction

Lead, motivate and manage the dealership team to achieve targets and KPI’s

Ensure strong compliance with OEM standards, dealership policies, and audit requirements

Manage and analyse dealership performance reports (Keyloop/CDK/Drive experience preferable)

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, expense control and overall business strategy

Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community and farming client base

Strengthen internal processes and support growth within the dealership

Minimum Requirements

Proven experience as a Dealer Principal / General Manager / Dealer Manager within the Motor Industry

Strong understanding of dealership operations (Sales, Parts, Service, Finance & Insurance)

Keyloop/CDK/Drive experience preferable (management reporting)

A stable track record and proven ability to drive dealership growth

Strong leadership, people management and performance-driven mindset

Must be comfortable working in a small town / rural environment

Afrikaans fluency highly advantageous (community is predominantly Afrikaans speaking)

Matric

Business Degree or Diploma is an advantage

Proven experience as a Dealer Principal / General Manager / Dealer Manager within the Motor Industry
