One of South Africa’s most well-known and respected long-distance bus companies is looking for a Qualified Commercial Diesel Technician to join their workshop team. This is a national operation with a large fleet of modern long-distance buses travelling across the country every day, and they need a reliable, hands-on professional to help keep their vehicles running safely and smoothly. To be considered, you need to be a fully qualified Diesel Technician qualification and a solid 2 years of post qualification experience working on commercial vehicles experience with Volvo trucks or buses will definitely be an advantage. You should be confident in carrying out fault-finding, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs efficiently and accurately. In this role, you’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing heavy-duty buses, performing regular maintenance checks, and working closely with a skilled workshop team to minimise downtime and keep the fleet roadworthy at all times. Job Requirements
Diesel Mechanics Certificate (Fully Qualified)
A valid Drivers License (Code B & C) and own transport
At least 2 years of RECENT post qualification experience in a reputable workshop
Experience with Volvo trucks or buses is a big advantage
Excellent fault finding diagnostic skills
Good Communication and reporting skills
Well-groomed and presented
A solid track record
A stable and gapless work history
