We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our vibrant workshop team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment, while consistently upholding excellent safety standards.

The successful candidate will be expected to follow all workshop procedures and operational guidelines, provide support to the Foreman when required, and contribute positively to daily workshop operations. The position also includes attending breakdowns as needed, maintaining a professional approach, and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently to support overall team productivity.

Job Requirements

Grade 12

Diesel trade test qualification

2 - 3 years' experience post qualification in a franchised dealership

Code 14 drivers' licence with PDP

Strong technical and diagnostic ability

Good communication skills and attention to detail

Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
