***THIS POSITION REQUIRES COMMERCIAL VEHICLE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE***

 Our client, a leading global trucking company, is looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join their team. This is a hands-on, highly administrative position that will support the HR Manager by taking care of the day-to-day HR tasks and helping lighten the load. The role covers full end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction, general HR administration, maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and South African labour legislation, and assisting with company events planning and broader HR support when needed. We are looking for someone with an HR qualification and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a related industry. OEM experience would be beneficial, with Recruitment experience, including working independently on job portals such as Pnet and LinkedIn, as well as headhunting. The ideal person will have their own reliable transport and a valid Code 8 drivers licence, be confident, proactive, and able to anticipate what needs to be done, have strong communication and admin skills, a professional and presentable manner, and a desire for long-term stability. Experience with cross-border recruitment, knowledge of South African HR laws, familiarity with SAGE300, and experience using recruitment platforms will be advantageous.

Job Requirements

An HR Qualification

A valid code 8 Drivers License and own vehicle

3+ years of HR experience in a corporate environment (OEM Preferred)

At least 1 year of 360° Recruitment experience and event planning experience

Fully computer literate, with SAGE300 being advantageous  

Fully fluent in English (Written and verbal)

Exceptional time management, coordination, and event planning skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
